Google has updated its display of How-To rich results to appear only on desktop devices. Despite mobile-first indexing, the mobile version of your website must include the appropriate HowTo structured data markup for these rich results to be eligible on desktop search results. Ensure your mobile pages contain accurate and complete HowTo schema to maintain visibility of How-To rich results on desktop, even though they will no longer appear on mobile devices.
